OrchKids is pleased to announce a new partnership with Highlandtown Elementary/Middle School #237. Due to the projected expansion of our program, we are relocating our East Baltimore hub-site from Highlandtown Elementary/Middle School #215 to Highlandtown Elementary/Middle School #237. This hub-site will offer after-school instrumental education and enrichment activities to students of Highlandtown #237, Highlandtown #215, and other nearby schools. The facilities that Highlandtown #237 offers will support our expansion and programming goals for many years to come. We are especially grateful to Principal Ashley for her dedication and support of the OrchKids mission! 

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff and teachers at Highlandtown #215 for your unwavering support, collaboration, and hospitality over the past 12 years. Your partnership has been invaluable in helping us provide a nurturing and creative environment for our students, and we are deeply appreciative of the positive impact you’ve had on the OrchKids program.

In the coming years, OrchKids is committed to expanding accessibility to high-quality instrumental education in Baltimore. By creating pathways from in-school musicianship classes to after-school instrumental programming, providing transportation to hub-sites, and adding more schools to our program networks, more students will have the opportunity to not only learn an instrument, but also experience the benefits of comprehensive music education and opportunities that take them beyond Baltimore including increased sense of belonging, self-awareness, and purpose.
