Asia-Twi McCallum

Administrative Coordinator

Twi McCallum is a Baltimore-raised arts administrator, and a retired artist. She previously lived in New York, where she worked as a sound designer & engineer for Broadway, regional theater, and media companies like Audible and HBO. What she loves the most about audio is that it surprisingly blends skills in math, physics, architecture, anthropology, and critical listening. While in NY, she graduated from Yale School of Drama in technical production, as well as co-founded Design Action– a charitable organization aimed at workforce development enrichment for theatrical designers. Most recently, she served as Arts Education Specialist then Community Engagement Manager at Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts. Currently, she volunteers for organizations like Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance and Baltimore Awesome Foundation, primarily supporting fundraising and outreach tasks. Aside from her work passions, she is an avid patron of BSO’s amazing film series!
