Amber has been playing cello since 2012 when she began as a beginner in her school district’s orchestra program, and has been teaching strings and piano since deciding to pursue music education in her early college years. She graduated from the University of North Texas in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education and spent 2 years working as an orchestra director in Denton, Texas before joining OrchKids here in Baltimore.
