Evan Kirshen is a trumpet player based out of Baltimore, Maryland. He has performed extensively both in the US and abroad, with groups such as the Thüringen Philharmonie Gotha-Eisenach, the Markus Stockhausen Intuitive Music Orchestra, and the Baltimore Baroque Band. His recent recording work can be heard in many places, such as The Humble Cheaters Alert The Crew and Live At Keystone Corner with the Mariah Bonner Band. Evan is a prize winner in the 2020 Next Generation Trumpet Competition and a finalist in the North American Baroque Trumpet Competition. Apart from performing and recording, Evan also teaches extensively in the Baltimore area at places such as the Peabody Preparatory and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s OrchKids program.
