Gloria Huskey is a dedicated music teacher, flutist and well-rounded educator who has taught and assisted in diverse settings, including The Montessori Schools at Flatiron, Teachers College, Columbia University, New York Philharmonic’s Very Young People’s Concerts and Children’s Museum of Manhattan. In addition to teaching music to young students, she has collaborated with educators and musicians to create musical and artistic curricula at many different institutions. She holds degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music (BM), Columbia University, Teachers College (MA), and is also a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy. Gloria’s primary teachers and mentors include Dr. Lori Custodero, Mary Kay Fink, Nancy Stagnitta and Don Gottlieb. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading and spending time with her husband and two beautiful children.
