Jade Luo Santos

Education and Ensemble Coordinator

Jade is a music educator, arts administrator, and vocalist from Miami, FL. She previously worked as the Education and Outreach Coordinator for Working In Concert in Chicago. She has taught voice, piano, general music, modern band, choir, and show choir, to grades ranging from K-12th grade at The People’s Music School in Chicago, William H. Brown Elementary in Chicago, and Palm Glades Preparatory Academy in Miami. She has a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Miami where she sang in the top choral ensemble, the Frost Chorale, and played trumpet and marching cymbals with the pep and marching band. She has also recently earned a Master of Science in Leadership for Creative Enterprises from Northwestern University. During her time at NU, she assistant directed the Albert Herring and The Merry Widow productions with the Northwestern Opera Theater at the Bienen School of Music. Jade is extremely passionate about reducing barriers to music education and feels blessed to be part of the OrchKids team where she can actively work towards equity in the arts.
