Noah is a percussionist and music educator originally from Frederick, Maryland. He has taught elementary school band, orchestra and general music in northern Virginia, where he continues to teach marching band as well as private percussion lessons. He went on to attend George Mason University where he earned a degree in music education while studying percussion with John Kilkenny and Jonathan Rance. He later received his master’s degree in music performance from the University of Maryland under the tutelage of Scott Christian, Edouard Beyens, and Jon Bisesi. As a performer, he has played with the Washington Sinfonietta, the Mansfield Symphony, and Maryland Winds both as a timpanist and a section percussionist. In his personal time, Noah enjoys jogging, playing disc golf, and spending time with his friends and family. He is very excited to join the wonderful teaching artist team at OrchKids!
