My name is Jaylin Jackson, a first year Master’s student in composition at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. I am currently a new Percussion Teaching Artist for BSO OrchKids! I am a Graduate of Norfolk State University with my B.M. in Music Education and I am also a proud member of the Rho Mu Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America, Inc. Fun fact; I was the Head Drum Major, “Mr. Spartan,” for the 2022-2023 edition of the Norfolk State University Spartan “Legion” Marching Band.
